Arnold AI Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 6, 2026 · Applies to the Arnold AI mobile applications (iOS and Android) and related services, operated by Apeborn Fitness ("Arnold AI", "we", "us").

Arnold AI is an AI fitness coach that builds a personalized training and nutrition plan and tracks your progress. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, date of birth, gender, and profile preferences you provide when creating an account.
• Health and fitness data you enter: height, weight and weight history, body measurements, fitness assessment answers, workouts and exercise logs, personal records, hydration, supplements, and nutrition/food logs.
• Health Connect data (Android, optional): with your explicit permission, we read steps, active and total calories burned, heart rate, sleep sessions, exercise sessions, distance, and weight from Google Health Connect. See section 3.
• Photos (optional): a food photo is processed only if you choose to submit one for AI food analysis. We do not access your photo library or camera otherwise.
• Voice (optional): voice dictation is transcribed on your device by the operating system's speech recognizer. Only the resulting text transcript may be sent to our AI provider for analysis (for example, to log a workout you described aloud). Raw audio recordings are not collected or stored by us.
• Usage analytics: anonymous app-usage and diagnostic events that help us improve performance and reliability.

2. How we use your data

• To generate and personalize your training, nutrition, and supplement recommendations, including AI-generated coaching messages, plan adjustments, and progress analytics shown to you inside the app.
• To track your progress (rankings, streaks, badges, predictions, recovery status) inside the app.
• To improve app performance, reliability, and user experience.
• To provide customer support.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your health or fitness data for advertising.

3. Health Connect data (Android)

If you connect Google Health Connect, Arnold AI reads the data types listed in section 1 solely to power in-app coaching and progress analytics that are shown to you: for example, factoring your steps, sleep, and calories burned into your daily plan and health scores. Health Connect data is:

• read only after you grant permission, which you can revoke at any time in Health Connect settings;
• used only for the app features described above;
• never sold, never used for advertising or marketing, and never used to determine credit, insurance, or employment eligibility;
• shared only with the service providers listed in section 4, strictly as needed to provide those features (for example, a summary may be included in the AI-coaching request that generates your analytics), and not otherwise transferred to third parties.

4. Data sharing (service providers)

We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations:

• Google Firebase: authentication, secure database (Cloud Firestore), push notifications, and analytics. Your account and logged data are stored in Firebase.
• OpenAI: powers the AI coach. Relevant profile, workout, nutrition, and health summaries, chat messages, voice transcripts, and any food photos you submit are sent to OpenAI to generate plans, analyses, and coaching responses.
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing / Apple App Store: subscription management and purchase processing, if and when you purchase a subscription. We never see your full payment details.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your records is protected by authenticated, per-user security rules, and sensitive identifiers on your device are stored in encrypted storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your profile and all logged health, fitness, and nutrition data from our systems. You may also request deletion by emailing admin@apebornfitness.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the address below to exercise them; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Children

Arnold AI is designed for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date, and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
